Heart Evangelista's father, Rey Ongpauco, just thanked his son-in-law, Chiz Escudero, in a heartfelt post on his official social media page.

Previously, on Sunday, June 16, Rey managed to give his followers a glimpse at his Father's Day celebration this year with his children.

Spotted in the said celebration was Chiz together with his children, Chesi and Quino, who celebrated with Rey and his children.

In the photos, Rey and the rest of his kids had a fun boodle fight spread on the table, enjoying the food that they had prepared for the event.

However, what also caught the attention of netizens was Rey thanking Chiz on Father's Day.

"Father’s Day with my family. Thank you, mga anak. Salamat @escuderochiz sa napakasarap na kare kare," Rey wrote in his post, even tagging Chiz.

Heart Evangelista is a Filipina actress, singer, TV host, endorser, visual media artist, philanthropist, socialite, and the former first lady of Sorsogon province. She was born on February 14, 1985, to a Chinese-Filipino father, restaurant mogul Reynaldo Evangelista Ongpauco, and Bicolana Maria Cecilia del Gallego Payawal.
