Paulo Avelino might have broken the hearts of some, though could also have thrilled many, when he revealed the wallpaper that he had on his mobile phone.

In an ambush interview with some members of the press, the actor showed everyone the photo of actress Kim Chiu displayed as his mobile phone’s wallpaper.

At the time, the two, along with some personalities and staff, were on their way to Surigao del Sur for a show there.

Upon their arrival, they were seen sitting together in what could be a press conference.

It was at this moment that Paulo flipped his phone to show everyone the displayed wallpaper, which none other than Kim.

Many KimPau followers were thrilled on seeing the wallpaper, prompting some to speculate about the status of their relationship.

In a past interview, however, Paulo indicated there wasn't any romantic link between him and Kim as of this time, especially since Kim just got out of a relationship.

He also said it would be better if both of them would just wait for the proper time.

Paulo Avelino is an award-winning actor from the Philippines. His performance as Filipino war hero, General Gregorio del Pilar in the film 'Heneral Luna' and its sequel 'Goyo: Ang Batang Heneral' became critically acclaimed. Now, he is performing really well in "Linlang," with many netizens praising him for his superb acting together with his co-stars Kim Chiu and JM De Guzman.

Recently, Kim took to Instagram and expressed her utmost gratitude to Dubai. She thanked everyone who was there for the warm welcome that they showed her and Paulo Avelino. Kimmy was also thankful for those who attended the show and for supporting "Linlang" and WWSK. She also announced that their next stop would be in Birmingham on June 30.

In a separate post, Paulo said he understands what the fans have been clamoring about him and Kim hopefully becoming a couple in real life. The actor, however, said that it would be much better if they would wait for the proper time. Kim also agreed that they should just enjoy what they have at present, and also thanked fans for their support. Kim also would prefer fans not call them a loveteam and instead, asked them to just refer to them as a "tandem" or "onscreen partners" so they wouldn't fall victim to the loveteam stigman in showbiz.
