Carla Abellana gets real about her struggles, joy in honest birthday post

Carla Abellana, in a recent post on her Instagram account, said that as she turned a year older, she felt “a genuine sense of happiness” and gratitude.

“As i turned another year older yesterday, not only do i feel a genuine sense of happiness, but i also feel immensely grateful,” Carla wrote in her post.

She then said that while she may not have everything she wants and needs in her life, she’s happy with the simplest things and that helps her to keep going.

“I may not have everything i want and need in life. I struggle often, still worry from time to time (sorry, Lord ) and quietly cry every now and then- all of which are fine and completely normal. But it’s truly the simplest of things that give me peace in my heart and help keep me going,” she said.

The actress also expressed gratitude for being given the opportunity to learn and grow from her mistakes.

“On my Birthday, i am grateful for the space to learn & grow from my mistakes, all the fan messages & comments i receive, hugs from my nieces, a much bigger bed for my dogs & i, clean & fresh bed sheets, a warm shower, the breeze in my front porch, beautiful flowers, naps,” the actress wrote.

“The warmth of my family, my new home, the sound of my favorite beats, the kindness of strangers, the persons who love me genuinely, waking up each morning, the singsong of the wild birds on my trees, the laughter i share with my best friends, and all the times i kept going,” she further said.

Near the end of her post, Carla expressed thanks to those who love and support her, as well as respect and pray for her.

“I sincerely give thanks to all of you who love me, support me, appreciate me, respect me, help me and pray for me. I thank God for all of you ❤️,” Carla said.

Carla Abellana is an actress and endorser who works for GMA. She used to be married to fellow Kapuso star Tom Rodriguez. Before entering showbiz, she graduated with honors from De La Salle University with a degree in psychology.

Recently, Carla took to Instagram and shared stunning photos in Japan. The actress donned a white tight-fitting undershirt and coupled it with a beige vest. She had black pants, a matching eyewear, and her look was simply perfect. Carla looked really pretty and many netizens commented positively.

In another social media post, Carla shared a pic of a pair of slippers with one slipper seemingly having chew-marks made by a pet. The cream-colored slippers looked like it was made by Havaianas, a popular footwear manufacturer, as shown by the logo on the top and straps. Based on the website of Havaianas, a similar pair costs over a thousand bucks with some models even going for two thousand bucks or more. In the caption that the actress wrote, she asked everyone in general to tell her they have puppies without telling her they do have puppies.
