The beauty queen’s son recently graduated from kindergarten.

In a caption on her post, the beauty queen proudly said that she now has a graduate, and then jokingly added she could already retire.

“I now have a Graduate!” Shamcey wrote in the caption, and then jokingly added: “ pwede na mag retire .”

She however feigned realization that her son only graduated from kindergarten, indicating that she might have to set aside any retirement plans as of now.

“Kaso from kinder lang pala ,” the beauty queen said.

Shamcey then congratulated her son and expressed her excitement in him going into Grade 1 the following school year.

“Congrats to my baby boy, Grade 1 here we come ♂️,” Shamcey said.

Meanwhile, netizens flocked to Shamcey’s post and wrote their messages of congratulations in the comments section.

“So cute this guy!!!!!!!!!” a netizen wrote.
“Kamuka po nya si mingyu ng seventeen,” another netizen chimed in.

Shamcey Gurrea Supsup was born on 16 May 1986 at Mercy Community Clinic in Iligan, Lanao del Norte. Her parents are Timoteo Ferolino Supsup and Marcelina Luega Gurrea. She moved with her family to General Santos when she was three years old. She graduated valedictorian in grade school and then salutatorian in High School. She graduated magna cúm laude from the University of the Philippines Diliman. She topped the Philippines' licensure examination for architects in June 2010.

Recently, after the awards night of the Miss Universe Philippines beauty pageant held at the SM Mall of Asia Arena where Chelsea Manalo of Bulacan won the title, Shamcey was among the first to congratulate her. She posted a photo of her and Chelsea together and left a congratulatory note. Former Ms. Universe 2018 Catriona Gray also shared a photo congratulating Chelsea, calling her “a new queen.“

Last year, Shamcey also posted on social media saying that she’s very proud of Michelle Dee. In her post, she also expressed admiration for the Philippines’ bet to the 2023 Ms Universe beauty pageant for her “relentless drive to elevate” her cause on the world stage. The beauty queen also said that Michelle’s gold award in the “Voice for Change” category is testament to her dedication. She then said that “securing a place in the Top 10 is a remarkable achievement in itself.”
