Ruru Madrid, in a recent post on Instagram, said his wedding scene in “Black Rider” could perhaps be the most difficult he has done so far.

According to Ruru, they shot the entire scene over the course of almost two weeks, pointing out that action-drama themed movies and TV series is indeed “incredibly challenging”

He said this is because the level of intensity required in action scenes must match those in drama scenes.

“We filmed this entire wedding scene over the course of nearly two weeks, and I would say that it has been the hardest scene I’ve ever done in my entire career,” Ruru wrote in the caption alongside his video post on IG.

“The action-drama genre is no joke; it’s incredibly challenging because the level of intensity required in the action scenes must also be matched in the drama, as that is the heart of the story,” he added.

The actor then expressed his gratitude to his co-actors and the production team of “Black Rider” as he can see everyone is truly dedicated to their craft.

“I’m very grateful to the team behind this project because I can see that everyone is dedicated to their craft, making everything much easier,” Ruru said.

He also revealed that he sustained some injuries and even got sick in the process, though he believed it’s all worth it.

“Although the process was far from easy—I sustained a few injuries and got sick—I know that all our hard work will be worth it once we see the final result on screen,” the actor said.
“We never get tired of creating scenes that provide entertainment and inspiration to every viewer because we do this for you,” he further said.
“Maraming salamat po sa inyo! At nawa’y patuloy ninyong suportahan ang Black Rider gabi-gabi sa GMA Prime 8pm at 9:40pm sa GTV,” Ruru concluded.

Ruru Madrid, born José Ezekiel Misa Madrid on December 4, 1997, is a Kapuso actor who started his showbiz career in “Protégé: The Battle For The Big Artista Break”. Some of the television series he became part of are “Encantadia”, “Alyas Robinhood”, and “TODA One I Love”. He is currently dating actress Bianca Umali.
