Kathryn Bernardo's mother, Min Bernardo, just penned a tear-worthy message to the actress after the latter won at the 72nd FAMAS Awards.

Previously, Kathryn Bernardo was hailed as the 'Best Actress' at the prestigious award show, delighting several netizens on social media.

Following this news, Mommy Min recalled how Kathryn told her desire to be an actress back in the day, which touched the hearts of netizens.

"One day, you said ‘Mama Papa, gusto ko mag-artista.’ Wala naman sa family natin ang artista. Pero bata ka palang alam mo na ang gusto mong gawin," she wrote.

According to Mommy Min, she and the rest of the family are extremely proud of Kathryn and her achievements, expressing how the latter remained positive through it all.

"And now here we are. Reflecting through your journey, I can say na sobrang proud kami sayo, anak! Remembering how you faced every struggle and challenge na napagdaanan mo/natin as a family. Watching you overcome everything and grow into the amazing person you are has been one of our greatest blessings. I never knew how strong you are until I saw your determination and how you bounce back every after fall. You remained positive and kind to the world no matter what," she wrote.

By the end of her post, Mommy Min congratulated Kathryn on her new achievement as an actress and reassured her they would always be around for her.
