Elijah Canlas has taken to social media and shared a heartfelt post dedicated to his late younger brother, JM Canlas.
On Instagram Stories on Sunday, Elijah shared a post showing JM’s ID picture.
Along with the snap, the “Batang Quiapo” and “High Street” star wrote an earnest message to JM.
He told his deceased brother that the latter is always in his mind and heart.

“You’re always in my mind and heart, JM. wherever, whenever,” Elijah penned.
To recall, JM created a massive buzz last year due to the heartbreaking news about his sudden demise. He passed away at the age of 17 years old on August 3, 2023.

JM was best known for appearing in films, including the 2017 independent film “Kiko Boksingero.” He was also part of the Tagalog dub of “Stranger Things.” JM's first television appearance was in the series “Team Yey” back in 2016.
JM Canlas, the younger brother of Elijah and Jerom Canlas, has passed away at 17 years old. Jerom announced the heartbreaking news in a social media post on August 3. No specific cause of death was given but Jerom revealed, “In his adolescence, JM struggled with his mental health.” Jerom also made public about his late brother’s wake.
Elijah later took to social media and wrote an emotional post about his brother’s passing. In his post, Elijah wrote a heartfelt message for the late young actor. “There’s so much more to be said. But for now… rest well, pinakamamahal kong JM,” Elijah penned. Elijah likewise said sorry and expressed how much he loves JM. The actor also thanked those who sent prayers and well wishes amidst their grief.
