Asia’s Songbird Regine Velasquez-Alcasid celebrated her 54th birthday last Monday, April 22.

Her husband, Ogie Alcasid, then shared a post regarding the celebrity mom’s special day.

On his Instagram page, Ogie published a video showing a glimpse into Regine fun’s birthday lunch in a lovely restaurant. The couple’s son Nate was also spotted in the said video.

Along with the video, Ogie expressed his short yet sweet birthday greeting for his dear wife.

Regine Velasquez is a famous singer and host in the Philippines. She is dubbed as the Asia’s Songbird because of her outstanding vocal range. Apart from singing, she has also acted in several films and is also a producer. She is married to singer-songwriter Ogie Alcasid.

In a previous report by KAMI, Regine Velasquez took to Instagram and shared side-by-side photos of her and her son. The actress and singer shared an old photo of her, and also shared Nate's photo. One could easily see the resemblance of Reg and her son, Nate. Many netizens commented, with one saying that they are like "pinagbiyak."

Previously, the singer was also seen seemingly on the verge of exhaustion in a video uploaded by her husband on social media. According to Ogie, Regine's training is "super light" for her. In the video, one can see Regine doing some runs with her face seemingly grimacing as she performs them while her husband calmly runs beside her. Ogie, in his caption, said that his wife is doing a “super light training lang na walang araw.” Despite the look of exhaustion on Regine’s face, Ogie said that the former is looking forward to her next training session.
