He gave his honest opinion on matters concerning education and noted that while many people would say that poverty is not a hindrance to education, he would say otherwise because, poverty really is a hindrance to education.

He said that no matter how hard one tries, if one does not have the finances, he would be compelled to seek the help of anyone.

Recently, the actor gave a statement on the seemingly never-ending gender issue being hurled at him. He then also talked about the undying rumors about him and Maine Mendoza.

Alden said that when Maine tied the knot with Arjo Atayde, he thought that such rumors would already stop, but it didn’t. The actor said that there are still others who believe he and Maine were already married and that they have a child. Alden said there is no truth to such rumors and claims, though he admitted he found it hard to convince some of their fans who seem to be happy with such belief.
