Yasmien Kurdi recently addressed a netizen who questioned the authenticity of her post where she talked about going to a 'palengke.'

On Sunday, April 7, Yasmien published a lengthy post, alongside a photo collage showing the netizen's comment in one of her posts.

"Palengke day. Ako pa din namamalengke hanggang ngayon," Yasmien wrote in one of her earlier posts, to which the netizen asked, "Di nga, walang kasambahay?"

Following this news, Yasmien responded to the netizen and explained that she could not possibly rely on their household helper for everything that needs to be done.

Yasmien further explained her side, in a lengthy post that was posted on her official Facebook page, saying she is someone who prefers doing things on her own.

"Hmm sa di mga nakakakilala sakin… ako yung tao na kahit may PA ako sa work, gusto ko ako pa rin nagaayos ng gamit ko. Para walang makalimutan na gamit… walang sisihan kapag may naiwan kasi ako ang nag ayos," she wrote.

Furthermore, Yasmien said that while she has one household helper in the house, she is still the one who cooks for everyone so she won't think about it while working.

"Ako din nagluluto bago umalis ng house para di ko iisipin food nila sa house habang nasa work ako. Isa lang helper ko as of now, si MJ na parang sister ko na," she said.
