The athlete has been accused of cheating on Danica Sotto after photos showing him and Kim in the same spots made the rounds on social media.
In the statement posted on his Instagram page, Marc straightforwardly debunked the rumors.
“Walang katotohanan ang mga lumalabas na balita tungkol sa amin ni Ms. Kim Rodriguez. Walang namamagitan sa aming dalawa gaya ng sinasabi ng ibang tao.”

The former PBA star went on to make clarifications about the circulating photos.
“Nakasama ko po si Ms. Kim sa isang basketball event at sa isa pang event noong naging muse siya ng team namin.”
“Salamat din sa nag pa abot ng concern. Ok kami ng pamilya ko,” he continued.
Furthermore, Marc urged the public to stop spreading fake news and asked for respect for his beloved family.
“Wag na po tayo magpakalat ng mga balita na hindi totoo. Humihingi po kami ng respeto para hindi madamay ang mga anak namin ni Danica. Salamat po at God bless po.”
Danica Sotto-Pingris is the daughter of popular actor-comedian and TV host, Vic Sotto, with veteran actress Dina Bonnevie. She was born on May 9, 1983 in Manila. Danica tied the knot with former basketball player, Marc Pingris, in 2007. Danica and Marc already have three children — Jean Michel, Anielle Micaela and Jean-Luc.
