Actress Claudine Barretto recently spoke to ABS-CBN News and other reporters about her heartfelt reunion with her niece, actress Julia Barretto, during a tribute party for Johnny Manahan. The reunion holds significance as Claudine has a rift with her sister, Marjorie Barretto, who is Julia's mother.

Expressing her joy, Claudine shared that she was extremely happy to spend quality time with her niece. She recounted their brief encounters during family gatherings but highlighted the special connection they shared at the tribute party, where they were able to catch up and spend quality time together.

Claudine reminisced about the affectionate embraces and meaningful conversations they had that night, expressing how much she missed their bond.

Claudine said: “I am really, really very happy. We see each other but only for a few times. The last we saw each other was [in] Zsazsa Zaturnnah. It was always just fast during family gatherings. She would just kiss me and greet [me]. But we would not be able to catch up.

“That night, it was the time we are able to really spend time. I really missed it. The hugs, the kisses.”

Claudine Barretto is one of the three famous Barretto sisters, which include Gretchen Barretto and Marjorie Barretto. Clau rose to fame when she became a cast of the 90's TV show, "Ang TV." In 1993, she joined the cast of "Home Along Da Riles," which stars comedy king Dolphy Quizon. Other teleseryes that Claudine starred in include "Mula sa Puso," "Saan Ka Man Naroroon," "Sa Dulo ng Walang Hanggan," "Marina," and "Iisa Pa Lamang." She tied the knot with Raymart Santiago in the year 2006, though several years later, the two parted ways.

She also claimed her husband doesn't honor his alimony obligations and so she's fighting back to recover the money that she says truly belongs to her.
