Vice Ganda made his fellow “It’s Showtime” hosts emotional due to his impromptu speech at the “It’s Showtime sa GMA: The Contract Signing” event held in GMA’s Studio 7 on Wednesday.

In the said event, ABS-CBN and GMA executives have formally inked a contract for the airing of “It’s Showtime” on GMA’s main channel from Monday to Saturday, 12:00 noon to 2:30 p.m. starting April 6.
During his speech, the Unkabogable Phenomenal Superstar discussed the historical and transformative moment.
“Who would have thought? Hindi lang naman siguro ako ang nakaisip nu'n na, 'Who would have thought na mangyayari ito?'”

“Kasi nu'ng nasa GTV tayo parang ano lang 'yun e, parang 1/4... Parang noong pinapasok tayo sa GTV, nabuksan 'yung bakuran. Pero nu'ng GMA na, binuksan na talaga 'yung pinto, 'Halika, dito tayo sa sala,'” Vice aired.
He likewise underscored, “'Yung GMA at ABS-CBN, para silang 220 at 110 na hindi mo puwedeng pagsamahin kasi sasabog sila.”
“Hindi mo maiisip 'yun eh, na magsasama 'yung 110 at 220 kasi sasabog siya, pero posibleng mangyari sa pamamagitan ng isang transformer.”
The comedian continued, “Hamon, hamon ang naging transformer kung bakit kayong dalawa (ABS-CBN and GMA) ay pinili niyong magsama. This is a transformative event, a transformative moment, hindi ito agad nangyari pero ngayong nangyayari na ito, this moment has a very strong, massive, transformative purpose.”
Meme Vice concluded his speech by expressing his heartfelt gratitude to the Kapamilya and Kapuso bosses.
“Sa ABS-CBN bosses namin, maraming salamat because you have always been fighting for 'Showtime.' I know what you do, nakikita ko kung ano ang ginagawa niyo. Salamat po sa mga taga-GMA, we are humbled and grateful. Thank you very much.”
Meanwhile, Anne Curtis, Vhong Navarro, and Kim Chiu are spotted tearing up because of their co-host's touching speech.

Just yesterday, “It’s Showtime” social media pages shared a teaser that caught the attention of many. It shows an art card containing the program’s “I-T-S” trademark along with a heart graphic. It also has a caption that reads, “Good news, Madlang People! ABANGAN!” The post then made numerous netizens, especially the noontime show’s fans, excited.
Last year, GMA and ABS-CBN executives formalized their deal on airing "It's Showtime" on GTV. The noontime show's hosts were also present at the contract signing event held on June 28. The said hosts include Vice Ganda, Anne Curtis, Kim Chiu and Ogie Alcasid, among others. A video showing the hosts being warmly welcomed at the event then made the rounds on social media.
