Jake Ejercito, in a recent post on Instagram Stories, shared a video showing him with a face full of emotions as he watched the events unfolding in the room where the late Jaclyn Jose’s wake is being held.
In the video, one can see the pained face of the actor look around, then bit his lip and bowed down his head.
One can also see the word “Anak” written on the center of the video that Jake shared on IG Stories.
Below that, one can see the message of Jaclyn to him that the actor previously shared on social media.

“Jake, nami miss na kita n sobra. Anak pa din ang turing ko sayo. Sorry sa ig kailangan ko lang mamili. Mahal kita, alam mo yan,” the caption read.
The actor is among the many celebrities who turned up during the first and succeeding days of the wake.
Mary Jane Santa Ana Guck, also known by her stage name Jaclyn Jose, was a Filipino cinema and TV actress who had earned international critical acclaim. Jaclyn won the Best Actress award for the film “Ma'Rosa” at the 2016 Cannes Film Festival. She was also known for her roles in the films "Private Show", "White Slavery", and "Santa Juana". Jaclyn was the mother of another famous actress, Andi Eigenmann.
During the second night of Jaclyn's wake, Jake, along with Andi Eigenmann and Gabby Eigenmman, in a video were seen busily welcoming family, friends, and sympathizers. In the video, one can see Jake and Gabby talking to one visitor near the funeral platform while Andi was also seen talking to another sympathizer sitting at a chair in the middle of the room. It wasn’t clear whether there were other celebrities who visited Jaclyn’s wake on its second day. It can be recalled that several celebrities, including Claudine Barretto, Christopher De Leon, Amy Austria, and Ivana Alawi were among those who were present during the first night of the wake.
In a previous post, Jake also gave everyone a glimpse into Jaclyn Jose's text to him. On Tuesday, March 5, Jake uploaded a screenshot of Jaclyn's text message to him. In the screenshot, Jaclyn called Jake "anak" which touched the hearts of netizens. The said post was made after Jake wrote a heartfelt tribute to the late actress.
