It can be recalled that a number of celebrities, including Christopher De Leon, Ivana Alawi, Amy Austria, and Claudine Barretto, were among those who were there during the first night of the wake.

Mary Jane Santa Ana Guck, also known by her stage name Jaclyn Jose, was a Filipino cinema and TV actress who had earned international critical acclaim. Jaclyn won the Best Actress award for the film “Ma'Rosa” at the 2016 Cannes Film Festival. She was also known for her roles in the films "Private Show", "White Slavery", and "Santa Juana". Jaclyn was the mother of another famous actress, Andi Eigenmann.

Award-winning director, Brillante Mendoza, was also among the early visitors in the wake of the multi-awarded veteran actress Jaclyn Jose. In a video shared by ABS-CBN News, one can also see actor-director Coco Martin. It can be recalled that Jaclyn and Brillante had worked together in the movie “Ma’ Rosa,” the film that gave Jaclyn the “Best Actress” award from the Cannes Film Festival.

Meanwhile, veteran showbiz columnist Lolit Solis, in a recent social media post, imparted important advice particularly for those who were in the advanced age. She said that one should really take care in anything they do especially if they are in the advanced age. The veteran showbiz columnist then cited as an example what happened to multi-awarded veteran actress Jaclyn Jose whom she said to have been “nadulas at inatake sa puso.” Manay Lolit, however said, that sometimes no matter how well one takes care of himself or herself, if it’s already her or his time, then he or she can’t do anything about it.
