Gloria Diaz, a former Miss Universe queen in an interview over “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda,” expressed her opinion on the changes being made and planned for the Miss Universe pageant.
The beauty queen and her daughter, Isabelle Daza, were the featured guests on a recent episode of the show.
Earlier, Tito Boy, often referred to as the ‘King of Talk’, was asking Isabelle about the issue of new rules like the scrapping of the age limit, height requirement, and other rules in the pageant for the sake of “inclusiveness.”
“I'm talking about Miss Universe. I know you've spoken about this pero naiba na yung mga batas, diba? The age limit is gone, height requirement, you can be a mother. The pitch of course is inclusiveness. What is your take Belle?” Tito Boy asked.

“This is a very controversial topic. This is probably an unpopular opinion but I agree with what my mom said,” Belle replied.
“If it’s Miss Universe and if you’re including everybody, it should just be referred to as the Universe, right? I guess there was some sort of barrier but of course, inclusivity and equality, I’m all for that,” she added.
Gloria then expressed her own opinion on the matter and where she stands.
“In ordinary words, basically, kailangan transv3stite, kailangan may Miss Transv3stite Universe. Tomb0y: Miss Tomb0y Universe. Bakla, transgender, whatever, lahat ng politically correct, kanya-kanya,” Gloria said.
Isabelle Daza is a Filipina actress, model, and celebrity mom whose mother is Miss Universe winner Gloria Diaz. She is married to Adrien Semblat, a French businessman. They now have three children, namely Baltie, Valentin, and Esmeralda.
In the same interview, Isabelle wasn't able to contain her laughter when her mom asked what happened to Belle in the Eras Tour concert. The mother-daughter tandem was the featured guests in the recent episode of the King of Talk’s “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda.” Earlier, Tito Boy was asking Belle some questions about Taylor Swift when her mom interjected saying that her daughter looked like “nagwawala” in the concert. She then asked what Belle had for a drink that made her act that way to the point that Taylor Swift appeared “natakot sa kanya.”
Isabelle also previously took to Instagram Stories and shared a cute photo of her and her kids. The entrepreneur was carrying two of her younger kids in the photo. The smallest, she was carrying with her hands, while the other was piggyback riding. In the caption, she joked that it was a way on how one can maintain a back injury.
