Sen. Nancy Binay, ukol sa gluta drip sesh ni Mariel Padilla sa senado: "Nakaka-bother lang"

Sen. Nancy Binay expressed concern over the recent gluta drip session of Mariel Padilla inside the office of her husband, Sen. Robin Padilla, in the Senate.

The senator said that it was bothersome considering that the procedure was done on the senate premises and without any advice from the clinic.

The ethics committee chair also said that she is not sure if the committee can extend its jurisdiction over Mariel, but they would look into matters of conduct, integrity and the reputation of the institution.

“I’m not sure if the Ethics Committee can extend its jurisdiction dito sa nangyaring insidente since hindi naman member ng Senado si Ms. Mariel. But we also need to closely look into it because it involves issues of conduct, integrity, and reputation of the Institution and matters that concern health and safety,” Binay said as per Inquirer's report.

“Nakaka-bother lang dahil yung IV procedure was done inside the Senate premises na walang abiso mula sa clinic,” she added as per GMA News.

In Manila Bulletin's report, the senator also noted that whitening is not a basis for good looks.
