Sylvia Sanchez took to Instagram to express her thoughts about the engagement of her daughter, Ria Atayde, to actor Zanjoe Marudo.

She said that she was so happy for Ria and posted a lovely video of the latter on her IG.

The actress also said that Ria deserved it because she is a very good daughter.

"Happy ako sobra para sa iyo Potpot @ria ❤️ Deserve mo yan dahil napakabuti mong anak ❤️"

In a separate post, the mother also said that her heart was overflowing with joy.

She also noted that Ria and Zanjoe are perfectly matched.

Earlier, Ria Atayde’s sister, Gela Atayde, took to social media and penned a message to Zanjoe, who would now be her soon-to-be brother-in-law.

In the on-screen caption, Gela told Zanjoe to take good care of her ate.

She also jokingly wrote that Ria is “a little fragile and stubborn but she’s ok.”

Ria Atayde is a Filipina actress and the daughter of veteran actress Sylvia Sanchez and businessman Art Atayde. She began her showbiz career with Ningning, a TV drama series, and variety noontime show It's Showtime. Ria is the younger sister of actor-politician Arjo Atayde.
