In her recent post, Kim said that the Lunar New Year celebration, which ushers in the Year of the Wooden Dragon, is festive and fun.

“Kung Hei Fat Choi! I love celebrating the Lunar New Year because it’s so festive and definitely fun. This Feb 10, we’re welcoming the Year of the Wooden Dragon!” the actress said in her post.
“Chinese tradition is a must like the dance with the dragons, loud drums, fire crackers, tikoy, wishing paper and many more,” Kim said.

Kim Chiu is a Filipina-Chinese actress and television host. She broke through in showbiz after becoming a winner in Pinoy Big Brother. She was born on April 19, 1990, in Cebu City to Chinese businessman William Chiu and Louella Yap. Kim is also known as the “Chinita Princess” and was once hailed as the “Princess of Philippine Movies and TV.”
