Liza Soberano, inaming inspirasyon si Dolly de Leon para maisakatuparan kanyang Hollywood dreams

- Liza Soberano, in a recent interview published on the social media channel of Universal Pictures Philippines, admitted that one of her inspirations is international star Dolly de Leon

- It was Dolly herself who asked the question about Liza's excitement over her break into Hollywood

- She explained that when the trailer of the movie dropped, she felt as though a thorn had been taken off her chest

- The actress also said that she is proud that she is part of a community trying to represent the Philippines in the international movie scene

Liza Soberano, during a Q&A, which was published on the channel of Universal Pictures Philippines, admitted that one of her inspirations in pursuing a career in Hollywood was Ms. Dolly De Leon.

A number of personalities asked her and Dolly was one of them.

“I’m curious to know, how exciting is it for you to break into Hollywood?” asked Dolly.

Liza initially gushed and thanked Dolly for saying yes and asking her that question.

She explained that a huge thorn was lifted off her chest when the trailer of "Lisa Frankenstein" dropped.

The actress also noted that Ms. Dolly was among those who inspired her to pursue Hollywood.

“I was inspired by people like you who are constantly pushing the envelope, striving for greatness in everything that you do, and I wanted that for myself too. Here we are now, Ms. Dolly,” she added.

“I’m proud that both of us are part of a large community of Filipino people who are trying to represent our country and make our fellow Filipinos proud,” she said further.

Liza Soberano is a Fil-Am actress, singer, endorser, and model. She has starred in various TV series and movies, which include 'Forevermore,' 'Dolce Amore,' and 'Bagani,' among others. The actress left her home talent center, ABS-CBN’s Star Magic, to pursue a career in Hollywood.

In a previous report by KAMI, Liza Soberano’s first Hollywood movie is “Lisa Frankenstein." Its second trailer has hit the internet and it features more scenes with the Filipino-American actress. Liza appears several times in the trailer as the character Taffy. Zelda Williams is the director and Diablo Cody is the writer of the movie.

Earlier, in a previous post on Instagram, Liza wowed netizens with her photos. At the time, the actress was at the Milan Fashion Week, where she wore an outfit from Louis Vuitton. Clad in a black-and-white ensemble, Liza looked incredibly posh and chic in the photos. This, in return, elicited positive comments from netizens on social media.
