In the quote that the former actress-now Pasig City Councilor posted on her Instagram account, she talked about forgiveness as a grace granted by the Holy Spirit or the Divine.
“Forgiveness is grace granted by the Holy Spirit,” the quote shared by Angelu read.
The quote also talks about the Holy Spirit knowing what is it to “forgive faster than others can apologize.”

Meanwhile, some netizens have been speculating as to whether the actress-turned-politician is trying to tell someone something with her post after a recent controversy involving her name and other showbiz personalities.
It can be recalled that Claudine Barretto, in a speech during the 20th wedding anniversary celebration of Gladys Reyes and the 18th birthday of her son Christophe, said she was willing to make a movie with Judy Ann Santos and Gladys but not Angelu.
During her speech, Claudine talked about her plan with Gladys to make a movie.
“Sana matuloy na, i-manifest na natin ang reunion project natin with Judy Ann Santos,” Claudine said during her speech, at which Gladys immediately answered in the positive.
“Ayun na nga! Ikaw ba Clau, game ka gumawa ng pelikula with me, si Juday at si Angelu?” Gladys asked.
In the video, one can see Gladys with her mouth open in surprise at Claudine’s reply to her.
“No, no, no. Ikaw lang, ako at si Juday. Walang Angelu,” the actress said.
“Haaa! Talaga ba?” a surprised Gladys exclaimed.
“Oo. Hindi ko alam kung saan nanggaling yun,” Claudine further said, to which Gladys just laughed and admitted she was surprised.
“Seryoso ka ba? Ha-hahaha! Teka lang, ha! Nagulat ako! Ha-hahaha!” Gladys said.
Claudine then seriously answered her in the affirmative, saying that she’s not “suplada” but only “maldita,” adding she’s only telling the truth.
“Hindi ako suplada. Maldita. Nagsasabi lang ako ng totoo. Tayong tatlo lang ‘yon,” Claudine concluded.
