Lolit Solis has recently taken to social media and penned a new commentary on Alden Richards.

The veteran showbiz columnist and talent manager talked about the Kapuso superstar after the latter bagged the Most Outstanding Film Actor award at the recently concluded Gawad Lasallianeta 2024.

In her lengthy commentary, Manay Lolit congratulated Alden and applauded his acting journey.

“Gusto ko batiin Salve si Alden Richards sa kanyang win as Best Actor sa @gawadlasallianeta. Talaga naman napakalaki ng ng isinulong ng pagiging aktor ni Alden Richards mula pa nuon na isa siyang popular na matinee idol. Akala mo nuon una isa lang handsome face si Alden, pero later nakikita na sng brilliance niya bilang isang mahusay na artista. At lalo pa siyang nahasa habang nagtatagal ang panahon.”

She also commended Alden for being focused on becoming a great actor.

“Talagang focus si Alden na maging mahusay na artista kaya naman hindi kataka taka na ngayon hahangaan mo siya hindi lang dahil sa personalidad niya kundi sa galing din sa pag arte. Hindi nga kataka taka na magtagal at lalo pang tumibay si Alden Richards bilang artista.”

Manay Lolit went on and wrote, “Kasi nga lahat halos ng makasama niya sa trabaho puring puri at mahal na mahal siya. Hindi lang siya ang mabait, pati narin mga kasama niya tulad nila mama Tenten. Talagang isa si Alden Richards sa mga artistang mamahalin mo at laging ipagdarasal na sana lalo pang magtagal sa showbiz.”

Furthermore, the entertainment columnist expressed her short but sweet message to Alden.

“Love you Alden, stay as sweet and kind as you always are.”

Earlier, Lolit came to the defense of Kapuso actor Alden Richards. In an IG post, the veteran columnist said that she got upset with all the issues surrounding the younger actor. He said that Alden is one of those artists who is kind and respectful and he does not give in to pressure about having a love life.
