Claudine Barretto, in a viral post on her social media account, said "enough is enough" from "toxic and negative people" this year.

On Wednesday, January 24, Claudine took to her Instagram page, @claubarretto, to upload a quote card about avoiding certain people.

In the photo, the quote card talked about: "Avoiding certain people to protect your emotional health is not a weakness. It's wisdom."

Following this news, Claudine penned a lengthy caption where she said enough is enough from "toxic and negative people" this year.

"Someday you can say ENOUGH IS ENOUGH from TOXIC AND NEGATIVE PEOPLE. This year, I am going to ELIMINATE a lot of people, even if its someone close to you, but is heavy & NEGATIVE, LET THEM GO. We don’t need people who DON'T RESPECT YOU & YOUR BOUNDARIES," she wrote.

According to Claudine, when people can no longer be trusted, it is okay to "walk away" and "let go" no matter how hard it is to do so.

"Trust is to earned, but when these people are not to trust anymore. Walk away, LET GO, no matter how hard it is remember YOU WILL NOT DIE WITHOUT THEM! Too much pain, betrayal dishonest? LET GO. I’m going to protect myself & my peace. Have a grand day ahead," she wrote.

Claudine Barretto is one of the three famous Barretto sisters, which include Gretchen Barretto and Marjorie Barretto. Clau rose to fame when she became a cast of the 90's TV show, "Ang TV." In 1993, she joined the cast of "Home Along Da Riles," which stars comedy king Dolphy Quizon. Other teleseryes that Claudine starred in include "Mula sa Puso," "Saan Ka Man Naroroon," "Sa Dulo ng Walang Hanggan," "Marina," and "Iisa Pa Lamang." She tied the knot with Raymart Santiago in the year 2006, though several years later, the two parted ways.

On Instagram, Claudine uploaded screenshots of her explanation in the comments section. The explanation was about her weight loss and her arms that had sagged due to it.
