- The said account, which Priscilla has labeled as “fake,” even sends out invitations to people to follow the “backup account”

Priscilla Meirelles, in a recent social media post, has warned her followers and fans about the existence of an Instagram account pretending to be her.

The beauty queen and actress is the wife of actor John Estrada.

In her post warning her followers, the actress uploaded on Instagram Stories a screenshot of the alleged IG account.

One can see in the screenshot the name “Priscilla Meirelles,” and on the profile picture placeholder is a photo of the beauty queen exactly as it looks on her original and authentic Instagram account.

The said account, which the actress and beauty queen already labeled as “fake,” even sends out invitations to netizens to follow the “backup account” of Priscilla.

One distinct difference, however, is that Priscilla’s user name on her original and authentic account reads “@primeirelles,” while that of the “fake” IG account reads “@pri.meirelles.”

Priscilla Meirelles de Almeida, the wife of actor John Estrada, is a Brazilian model, host, actress, environmentalist and beauty queen. In 2004, she won the Miss Earth title, the pageant night of which was held in the Philippines. She also became Miss Globe in 2003.

Early in October last year, Priscilla took to Twitter and posted a quote about the grass. It stated that the grass is greener where you water it. She did not say whether it was directed at someone or if she was simply inspired by the message. Many netizens agreed with what Priscilla posted, with some of them giving it a red heart.

A few weeks later, she once again took to IG Stories and posted a sweet photo. One could see that the husband and wife are smiling happily at the camera. The song that was playing was actually, "What Doesn't Kill You Makes You Stronger." John could not help but ask his wife why she chose that song on her post, which had Priscilla laughing hard.
