According to Ogie, the TV host-comedienne isn’t one who is “manhid” to all that’s happening, particularly when it comes to netizens’ sentiments.
“Siyempre may pakiramdam din naman si Vice. Hindi naman siya dedma or manhid na hindi nalalaman yung mga saloobin ng mga netizen,” Ogie said.
He then lamented the fact that Vice already said sorry and admitted his wrongdoing, yet despite that some netizens continue to bash the TV host-comedienne.
“Minsan mahirap din sa ibang netizen eh, parang nama-magnify nila yung lahat ng artista na napapanood nila. Kumbaga jina-judge na kaagad, diba?” Mama Ogs said.
The showbiz reporter and talent manager then addressed the said netizens, saying they don’t have the skills to be hosts, adding that the only capability such persons have is to judge.
“Eh kayo man ang nandoon sa sitwasyon na yon, diba, I'm sure hindi nyo kayang gawin yon kasi wala nga kayong kakayahang mag-host, diba?” the showbiz reporter said.
“May kakayahan kayo mag-judge nung napapanood ninyo, diba?” he further said.
“Eh ito, nag-sorry na, okay na yun. Dapat okay na yun. Diba? At hindi na dapat maulit. Kung maulit man, hindi yung sa ganun na ‘brandagulan.’” Ogie concluded.
Ogie Diaz is an actor, comedian, entertainment reporter, and talent manager. He was known as “Pekto” in the popular TV sitcom, “Palibhasa Lalaki.” He is also behind the YouTube channel “Ogie Diaz Showbiz Update.” He became a successful talent manager and once handled the careers of Vice Ganda and Liza Soberano. He is now conducting workshops.
In another episode of "Ogie Diaz Showbiz Updates," the showbiz reporter and talent manager talked about the Ian Veneracion TF post, which went viral recently. According to Ogie, he was able to talk to the singer-actor about the issue. The showbiz reporter said that Ian told him despite what happened, inquiries about the possibility of a public appearance even went up.
It can be recalled that Ogie made public his sentiments about the trending post. According to the talent manager, if an entity cannot afford the TF, they should just get another one and avoid posting about what transpired. He said it would be a different story if Ian signed a contract and never showed up at the appointed date and time.
