The mother of Fil-Am comedian Jo Koy was interviewed by TFC News Nevada and she addressed the negative comments about her son, following his performance at the Golden Globes.

With her voice breaking, an emotional Josie Harrison admitted to being hurt from all the bashing that her son received.

"If you love somebody and you know they're hurt, it hurts me," she said.

"Kasi, kaya nga sabi, you endorse a lot of people, and when I try to endorse, I try my hardest na para ibigay ang kanilang gusto. And I know Joseph tried his best that night. So I am with my son no matter what," she added.

Joseph Glenn Herbert, more popularly known as Jo Koy, is a Fil-Am stand-up comedian and actor. He gained fame in the U.S. He also had six comedy specials, which was released by Netflix and Comedy Central. He has been getting bigger opportunities lately.

Michael V took to X and defended Jo Koy from all the hate and bashing he has been receiving. According to Jo Koy, the jokes that the comedian made at the Golden Globes were funny. He also said that they were direct and self-explanatory. As for Michael, he said that the last thing Jo Koy needed to do was to explain himself to people who chose not to understand them.
