Klarisse de Guzman sa pagpanaw ni PDA contestant Hansen Nichols: “You fought one incredible battle”

Hansen Nichols, who was best known for his stint in the second season of Pinoy Dream Academy, has recently succumbed to cancer.

One of his good friends, Klarisse de Guzman, took to social media to pen a heartfelt tribute to the late singer.

In her post, Klarisse thanked Hansen for their genuine friendship.

“Ang hirap mawalan ng isang totoong kaibigan. Maraming salamat sa napakasaya at totoong friendship, Sen. I will cherish it FOREVER. Hindi kita makakalimutan.”

She went on to commend Hansen for his strength.

“You fought one incredible battle, Sen. Napaka-Strong mo! Rest easy now kapatid.”

Furthermore, Klarisse expressed his earnest farewell message to her deceased friend.

“I love you Sen! Save a place for us up there. Sa langit na lang tayo ulit mag wine night, mukbang, kwentuhan, kantahan at tawanan.”

“Hanggang sa muli nating pagkikita,” she added.

Hansen was already a cancer survivor when he joined Pinoy Dream Academy Season 2. However, cancer struck the singer again this past year.

Bugoy Drilon, his PDA batchmate, is among those who mourn Hansen’s demise. In a lengthy post, Bugoy expressed his love for his best friend and wrote that he will miss Hansen so much. The “Paano Na Kaya” hitmaker also shared how kind Hansen was, especially towards him. Along with his tribute, Bugoy also uploaded a photo and clips showing some of his heartwarming moments with Hansen.

Aside from Hansen, there were other known singers who died recently. Kokoi Baldo, The Voice Season 2 finalist and referred to by the media as Bob Marley of the Philippines, died in a vehicular accident last December 8. The famous reggae artist was riding his motorcycle when the accident happened.

The Voice Kids contestant Yohance Buie has passed away at the age of 17. His talent management Virtual Playground announced the heartbreaking news last November 11.
