Robi Domingo has kept the promise he made to his ailing girlfriend, Maiqui Pineda, that he would marry her someday.

Today, January 6, 2024, the TV host and actor fulfilled that promise in an elaborate church wedding that was attended by their families and friends.

In an Instagram post shared by Robi’s friend, former PBB big winner Melai Cantiveros, one can see the happiness painted on everyone’s faces as the two exchanged vows at the altar.

In the caption of her post on Instagram Stories, Melai expressed gladness that she was able to catch up with the wedding ceremony.

“Nakahabol din ako Robsy wabsy,” Melai wrote in her caption.

She also expressed happiness at being able to witness the wonderful moment.

“Awwwww Super happy to witness this moment Robs,” the TV host-comedienne and former PBB big winner further wrote.

Melai then expressed her love for Robi and Maiqui.

“We lab you Rob and Maiqui,” Melai wrote.

In her other posts on Instagram Stories, Melai congratulated the newlywed and referred to them with Robi’s last name.

“Congrats Mr. and Mrs. Robi and Maiqui Domingo,” Melai said.

It can be recalled that Robi’s then-GF-and-now-wife, Maiqui, was admitted to the hospital last year because of a rare autoimmune disease.

Robi stayed with her at the hospital and would constantly update their followers as to the status of Maiqui.

Robi Domingo is a Filipino VJ, actor, dancer, and host. He first gained fame as a Pinoy Big Brother contestant, ending up as the first runner-up of the reality competition series. The Kapamilya star used to be in a relationship with Gretchen Ho before getting into a relationship with Maiqui Pineda. He would, at times take to IG and post updates on his love life and career.

In a previous post, Robi shared an update on his and Maiqui Pineda’s dream home. He posted photos giving glimpses of the ongoing renovation of their future house. In the caption, Robi said he is really happy with the outcome of the ongoing renovation. The TV host and his fiancée likewise expressed gratitude to the designer of their home.
