Maine Mendoza took to X and expressed her happiness over the win of TVJ in the copyright infringement and unfair competition case against TAPE Inc. and GMA-7.

"Eat Bulaga is TVJ. TVJ is Eat Bulaga," Maine tweeted.

The parties have been fighting over the name "Eat Bulaga.

The Regional Trial Court Branch 273 already came out with a decision, which granted the complaint of TVJ over the use of the trademark "Eat Bulaga," including the jingle.

With the court's decision that Joey De Leon was the creator of "Eat Bulaga," TVJ could now use it in their show even if TAPE would make an appeal since the Revised Rules of Procedure for Intellectual Property Rights Cases states that the court's decision is immediately executory even pending appeal.

Nicomaine Dei Capili Mendoza, more popularly known as Maine Mendoza, is a Pinay actress, model, and TV host. Maine rose to prominence after her Dubsmash videos went viral, which helped her land a role as Yaya Dub in the country’s longest-running noontime show, "Eat Bulaga." She eventually landed roles in various movies and TV series, with one of them helping her win Best Supporting Actress during the 41st Metro Manila Film Festival. The actress is now married to actor-politician Arjo Atayde.

As previously reported by KAMI, Maine Mendoza took to X to celebrate with TVJ Productions. Earlier, it was reported that TVJ Productions won the trademark case over 'Eat Bulaga.' On X, Maine expressed her utmost joy and support for TVJ and even reposted viral videos. According to Maine, despite being absent from the show, she too is "nakiki-bulaga" with them.

Meanwhile, Maine Mendoza just spread tons of kilig vibes on social media with her latest post. On Instagram, Maine had posted sweet snaps she took with Arjo Atayde. The said photos were taken during Arjo's intímate birthday celebration. Needless to say, the photos earned positive responses from netizens online.
