Kathryn Bernardo, a Filipina actress, stirred buzz on social media after showcasing her new hairstyle this year on her Instagram page.

On Friday, January 5, the 27-year-old actress took to the photo-sharing app to upload a new selfie she recently took with her adorable niece.

In the photo, both Kathryn and her niece, Lhexine Alcantara, posed for the camera as they sported some new hairdos and hair colors this year.

Netizens were then stunned to see Kathryn ditch her bright, orange hair as she decided to opt for a lighter brown hair color for this year, 2024.

"Back to brown hurrr [brown heart emoticon]," Kathryn wrote in the caption of her viral online post.

Kathryn Bernardo is among the most popular and acclaimed Filipina film and television actresses. She is considered one of the most successful celebrities because of her blockbuster movies. She holds the highest-grossing Filipino Film of All Time, "Hello, Love, Goodbye." It also became the highest-grossing Filipino Film in the Middle East, Australia, and North America. She used to be the girlfriend of famous actor Daniel Padilla.

According to the actress, the said movie became the 5th most-watched film on the platform in the last week of December 2023. She revealed that “A Very Good Girl” was able to get 2.4 million views on a global scale.
