Kim Chiu, a Filipina actress, posted her own 2023 recap on social media, where she opened up about the previous year's challenges.

On January 4, Thursday, Kim took to Instagram to upload a new reel about her many adventures for the year 2023, including its challenges.

According to Kim, the year 2023 was full of emotions "up, side, down" and that it was an "intense year of personal growth" all around.

"It was an intense year of personal growth. It tested my faith and a lot of learnings, wins and losses. I couldn’t gather all my emotions, which felt overwhelming—so many sentimental moments, breakdowns, and breakthroughs. I am thankful for all the amazing people I worked with and, perfectly amazing people surrounding me as well, and met/gained new friends," she wrote.

On Instagram, Kim expressed her gratefulness for all the trust and opportunities that were given to her, saying she is grateful for the highs and lows of life.

"I am grateful for all the trust and opportunities given to me. I am thankful for the highs and also grateful for the lows. Life comes by surprise, and it’s up to you how you walk through it. Life is a test, and all I know is you have to keep walking and moving forward. Stop for a while, cherish every moment, and think about what was. To everyone who supported me along the way, please know that I am deeply thankful, and I appreciate each one of you," she wrote.

Kim Chiu is a Filipina-Chinese actress and television host. She broke through in showbiz after becoming a winner in Pinoy Big Brother. She was born on April 19, 1990, in Cebu City to Chinese businessman William Chiu and Louella Yap. Kim is also known as the “Chinita Princess” and was once hailed as the “Princess of Philippine Movies and TV.”
