Lolit Solis took to social media and tackled the unsolicited comment that Janno Gibbs received for traveling to Japan days after Ronaldo Valdez’s demise.

In a lengthy Instagram post, the veteran entertainment columnist and talent manager expressed her two cents on the said criticism.

“Binibigyan malisya ng marami Salve iyon bakasyon ni Janno Gibbs sa Japan. Dahil kamamatay lang ng tatay niyang si Ronaldo Valdez gusto nila makita iyong grieving period ni Janno.”

She went on to stress, “Not because you did not cry means you are not sad. Sadness is in the heart, hindi kailangan lahat nakakakita.”

“Even in a crowd, puwede kang malungkot na hindi alam ng mga kasama mo. Personal emotion mo iyon at hindi kailangan alam ng lahat,” Manay Lolit elucidated.

“For sure kahit nasaan pumunta si Janno Gibbs nasa puso niya ang ama na si Ronaldo Valdez,” she underscored.

Furthermore, Manay Lolit urged everyone to let Ronaldo rest in peace.

“Huwag na natin gamitin pa ang pangalan niya para lang sa mga walang kuwentang issue. Let us respect his memory.”

“Go Janno in your own way of grieving for your dad. Let us pray together for his soul. Amen,” Lolit added.

However, this prompted one netizen to comment about the singer's late father, Ronaldo Valdez. This eventually caught the attention of Janno, who then said, "shame on you" to the netizen.

Earlier, Janno expressed gratitude to several personalities and companies. On Instagram Stories, Janno shared photos showing the bouquets of flowers at Ronaldo’s wake. He also thanked Sen. Lito Lapid, Tito Sotto, Helen Gamboa, VIVA, and Herbert Bautista for sending the flowers.
