Bela Padilla has taken to X and expressed heartbreak over the demise of the great veteran actor Ronaldo Valdez.
The actress reminisced about the times when she was still younger when she would be watching the actor in movies and TV.
For Bela, the news of the death of the veteran actor was simply so sad.
"Grew up watching sir Ronaldo Valdez’s movies and tv shows... The news today is so sad."

Bela also lamented that the great actors and actresses of the Philippine movie industry are already joining the stars in the heavens.

Ronald James Dulaca Gibbs, or Ronaldo Valdez as he was known by his screen name, was a veteran actor in both movies and television. He was notably recognized as the father of Janno Gibbs, who is an actor, comedian, TV host, and singer.
In a previous report by KAMI, Kathryn Bernardo’s video showing her being greeted by her “Lolo” Ronaldo Valdez for her performance of her role in “A Very Good Girl” went viral. In the video, one can see the veteran actor sitting in what appeared to be the front seat of a car congratulating the multi-awarded actress who was standing by the window. The actress was visibly elated to be congratulated by a seasoned and multi-awarded veteran actor like Ronaldo, who also portrayed the role of Kathryn’s “Lolo” in a TV series. The veteran actor, on the other hand, was full of praises for her “Apo” and told her that he already misses her.
Recently, Gary Valenciano paid tribute to Ronaldo Valdez in a social media post. In his heartfelt post, the singer said Ronaldo was one person who he loved to watch. Gary V also said he feels blessed that he got to meet someone like the late actor.
