The video of two tables belonging to two different KPop groups collapsing in the middle of the Asia Artist Award ceremony has gone viral.

In this year’s Asia Artist Award or AAA, which was held at the Philippine Arena in Bulacan, a video showing the collapse of the two tables recently surfaced online and immediately went viral.

In the said video, one can see the table of ZEROBASEONE, an all-male K-pop group, and NewJeans, an all-female K-pop group, suddenly collapse to the floor without warning.

Both K-pop groups were apparently surprised by what happened, though the incident did not dampen their celebratory mood as they clapped and danced to the music.

It wasn’t clear if any member of either K-pop group sustained injuries as a result of the incident.

The organizers of the event have yet to issue a statement on the matter, along with an explanation of what could have caused such an incident.

The Asia Artist Awards, or AAA, is an awards ceremony that is organized by South Korea-based business newspaper Money Today, in partnership with MTN and StarNews. The AAA recognizes outstanding achievements and contributions of South Korean and other Asian artists in Asian television, film, and music.

Among the Pinoy artists who received awards from the AAA were Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla, who made headlines anew after receiving their individual awards during the ceremony. They are among the awardees of the AAA Fabulous Award. A video of the two Filipino superstars delivering their acceptance speeches also made the rounds on social media. In her speech, Kathryn took the opportunity to express gratitude for the support that Filipino-made TV series and movies have been receiving.

Another proud Pinoy who received an award from the 2023 Asia Artist Awards (AAA) is Melai Cantiveros. She won the Best Actor Award at the recently-held ceremony of AAA at the Philippine Arena in Bulacan. A few moments after Melai clinched the award, one of her good friends, actor and host Luis Manzano, took to Instagram Stories and lauded the comedienne. He reposted a photo of Melai flexing her look for AAA and wrote his hilarious message to the celebrity mom.
