Derek Ramsay, babae ang gustong maging anak nila ni Ellen: “I’m leaning towards now on a baby girl”

Derek Ramsay, during an interview with members of the press in the media conference for his new movie, “Kampon,” revealed that he’s “leaning more towards now on having a baby girl” with Ellen.

In the past, Derek had said he wanted a baby son with his wife, but with his recent revelation, it would seem his preference had already changed.

“I always say na I want another boy with Ellen, but everybody’s wishing for a girl para sa amin but spending time with Erin I’m leaning more towards now on having a baby girl,” Derek said.

He added, however, that he already felt pity for his future baby daughter because for sure he would be very protective of her.

“Pero kawawa because I will be really protective that’s for sure,” the actor added.

It can be recalled that Derek recently broke the sad news that Ellen suffered 'pregnancy loss' while on their way home to the Philippines from Spain.

He admitted feeling very happy on learning that his wife is pregnant, though it was replaced with sadness when she had 'pregnancy loss'.

“Medyo hindi ko alam kung ano ‘yung mapi-feel. Kasi rollercoaster, eh. Super happy, biglang lowest of the low,” he revealed.

The actor then indicated his desire to have a child with Ellen, saying that he always loved kids, which is why he’s very close with Elias, the son of Ellen with actor John Lloyd Cruz.

“I’ve always loved kids. I always know that I will want kids, that’s why I’m very, very close with Elias,” he said.

“Will I be the same kind of father? I don’t know how to answer that but l’ll be the best father I can be,” Derek concluded.

Despite what happened, Derek said he was relieved Ellen was safe and also glad to know they both could still have a baby.

A couple of days ago, Ellen delighted several netizens on social media with her viral video. On Instagram, her husband Derek posted a video of her sweet surprise for him. In the viral video, Ellen could be spotted singing a happy birthday song to Derek, while holding a cake in her hands. In the comments section, tons of netizens also left positive comments for Ellen and Derek, with some greeting the actor as well.
