Ysabel Ortega recently celebrated a significant milestone as she proudly showed the grand opening of her very own bakeshop, Maria Ysabel’s Cakes and Pastries.

The Kapuso actress took to her Instagram feed to share the joyous occasion, posting photos and videos.

In a heartfelt caption she wrote, "This bakeshop has been a dream of mine ever since I was little. I grew up with yummy pastries and sweets, and I’m so happy to share with you recipes from my mom and me that will for sure be #LasangLangit congratulations to us mama!"

The support for Ysabel's new venture was evident as followers and celebrities, including Rayver Cruz, extended their congratulations and best wishes to her.

Ysabel is the daughter of action star Lito Lapid and singer Michelle Ortega. Her stepfather is PDEA deputy director-general Gregorio Pimentel. Lito is now married to Marissa Tadeo, with whom he has four children with. As for Ysabel, she became more popular after appearing in the teleserye “Araw Gabi” with Barbie Imperial and JM de Guzman.

In a previous report by KAMI, Ysabel Ortega’s face took on an incredulous look on seeing her ‘lato-lato’ break down in the hands of her “Voltes V: Legacy” co-star Miguel Tanfelix. In a video shared by GMA Network, the actor was seen fiddling with the said toy and then started playing with it. To everyone’s surprise, something happened that caused Ysabel to give Miguel a sharp look while the latter gave her a sheepish smile. As the actor tried to fix the toy, Ysabel continued to give him a sharp stare to the amusement of netizens.

Earlier, Ysabel was also the main topic of Lolit Solis several months ago in her Instagram post. According to the veteran columnist, she nearly went nuts over the weight of the bag that Ysabel Ortega brings with her. The veteran showbiz columnist then said that she learned the actress would often bring school books with her everywhere she goes. She also said that Ysabel is bent on finishing the law degree that she took after graduating from college. Manay Lolit praised the actress and law student whom she expects to finish her studies given her diligent attitude towards schoolwork.
