It is worth noting that the post came after the Intellectual Property Office of the Philippines canceled the trademark registration of “Eat Bulaga” by Television and Production Exponents, Inc. (TAPE) as the latter failed to prove how they came up with the said title.
IPO said TVJ provided testimony and explanation on how they originated the title, leading to the decision favoring them.
Meanwhile, Allan K, Ryan Agoncillo, Miles Ocampo, Atasha Muhlach, Ryzza Mae Dizon, and Carren Eistrup positively reacted to TVJ’s post on Instagram.

"Eat Bulaga" is the longest-running noontime variety program on Philippine television. The show premiered on July 30, 1979. Its pioneer hosts include showbiz icons Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto, and Joey de Leon.
Last July, TVJ and the "Legit Dabarkads" kicked off their noontime show on TV5. During the pilot episode, the iconic trio could not help but cry as they entered their "new home." Pauleen Luna, Kristine Hermosa and other personalities related to the hosts likewise became emotional.
Joey's recent post also caught the attention of his followers. He shared a photo of him wearing a shirt with a quote about calling things by their proper names. It also has a catchy text that reads, “We are Eat Bulaga.” Along with the photo, the veteran comedian also wrote a cryptic caption where he mentioned, “konting tiis na lang!”
