It can be recalled that after several weeks of speculation as regards to talks about their breakup, the multi-awarded actress came out yesterday, November 30, with a statement confirming the breakup.

Kath’s announcement, which she posted on Instagram, sent shockwaves throughout the showbiz industry and to millions of KathNiel fans who idolized them since day one.

For Nay Cristy, the part that touched her the most in Kathryn’s statement was when she talked about dedicating almost half of her life to Daniel.

“Alam mo kung saan ako dito talaga kay Kathryn? Kung saan nabagbag ang damdamin ko? Nung sabihin niya yung kalahati halos ng kanyang buhay ay inilaan niya sa pagmamahal kay Daniel Padilla, kay DJ, na wala siyang ano mang pinagsisisihan,” Nay Cristy said.

Nay Cristy’s co-host, Romel Chika, expressed admiration for Kathryn because despite the fact that she was hurting, she did not spew out any ill statements, just what she felt and the need for everyone to move on.
