Ogie Diaz has taken to X to express his dismay over those calling them "fake news peddler" simply because they reported an item, which he said, they even categorically stated that it was unconfirmed.

He also underscored that they mentioned that hopefully what they reported was not true.
He then asked if in case it would show that the unconfirmed report that they shared would be true, would they receive medals.
"May naibalita lang kami na sinabi naman namin na di pa confirmed at sana di totoo, fake news peddler na raw kami. So pag tama ba kami, sasabitan nyo kami ng medalya?"
