Vilma Santos is one of the most famous, iconic and legendary actresses in the Philippines. She has also found success in politics, previously serving as the Representative for the Lone District of Lipa, Batangas. The actress-politician is married to politician Ralph Recto and she is also the mother of actor-host Luis Manzano.

In a recent video uploaded on social media by her son Luis Manzano, Vilma has expressed her desire for her son’s show, “It’s Your Lucky Day,” to return airing. Earlier, Luis was heard in the video asking his mom if she wanted “It’s Your Lucky Day” to return on air. The veteran multi-awarded actress immediately answered in the affirmative and then stated her reason as to why. “It’s Your Lucky Day” had it’s final episode on October 27 after a little less than two weeks of airing.

Earlier, Luis found his charm may not be working with his mom when it comes to Baby Peanut. This was after Vilma stood pat on her decision to buy things only for Baby Peanut. Baby Peanut, the granddaughter of Vilma, is the daughter of Luis and his wife Jessy Mendiola. In the video that Luis uploaded on social media, he was asking his mom at the outset if she’s going to buy things for all of them. The veteran multi-awarded actress first joked that it is them who should buy things for her, and then declared that she would only shop for things for Baby Peanut.
