Christian Bables, in a video posted by Bandera on its YouTube channel of the actor’s ambush interview with some members of the press, expressed his opinion on the viral “tearless” acting of Anji Salvacion in “Linlang.”

It can be recalled that showbiz reporter and talent manager Ogie Diaz posted about a scene in “Linlang” where Anji was crying but there were no tears in her eyes.

That particular scene went trending afterwards, putting Anji on the defensive amid numerous bashings.

She also became the subject of many memes, poking fun at her acting.

Netizens and celebrities, including Christian, have expressed opinion on that particular scene.

“Kung ikaw personally. Kung napapanood mo iyon. From your own point of view. Bilang isang aktor, what was your reaction,” a reporter asked.

“About? Anji? To tell you honestly, alam ko, alam ko na kailangan pa niyang matuto” Christian answered.

He also expressed hope that Anji would have a “willingness to learn” and accept she still needs to improve.

“And I hope and pray na sana meron siya nung willingness to learn and to accept that there's still a huge room for improvement and alam ko'ng meron, alam ko'ng meron,” Christian said.

Christian Mercurio Bables is a Pinoy actor who won the Best Leading Actor at the 5th Hanoi International Film Festival for the film “Signal Rock. He also won Best Supporting Actor at Gawad Urian for his trans woman role “Barbs” in the film “Die Beautiful” which starred Paolo Ballesteros.

In a previous interview of Christian's co-star in "Dirty Linen," Jennica Garcia, she answered speculations about an alleged romantic relationship with the actor. It can be recalled that rumors between Jennica and Christian floated due to the perceived sweetness of the two with each other.
