The singer uploaded photos of him dressed as Roronoa Zoro of “One Piece.”

“I am Roronoa Zoro, the pirate hunter,” he wrote in the caption.

Among those who lauded Darren’s look was actress Kim Chiu. In her comment, Kimmy even called the singer her “bestie.”

To which Darren replied, “Kailangan ‘di tayo nagpapatalo.”

Darren Espanto, born on May 24, 2001 as Darren Lyndon Gonzales Espanto, is a Filipino-Canadian singer and actor well-known for his cover songs such as "Dying Inside To Hold You", originally sung by Timmy Thomas. He first joined a competition at the age of ten, where he won the Masters Finals of the Pinoy Singing Sensation competition in Edmonton.

Darren turned 22 years old last May 24. He marked his special day at a fun and star-studded birthday party. The singer took to social media to share a video giving glimpses of the celebration. Among those spotted at the event were his rumored girl Cassy Legaspi, her twin Mavy Legaspi, and the latter’s rumored girlfriend Kyline Alcantara.
