Kyla pens sweet birthday message for husband Rich Alvarez

Kyla’s husband, former basketball player Rich Alvarez, has turned another year older and wiser.

The celebrity mom took to her Instagram page and penned a lengthy birthday greeting for Rich.

She began her post by expressing disbelief as to how time seems to pass very quickly.

“Whenever we celebrate your birthday, i feel like the new year is just around the corner. Doesn’t it feel like it was just January? The year is about to end in a moment. And our boy, how much he’s grown! Time flies by in a blink of an eye. The only thing that’s slow- and we can both agree, is the traffic in Manila. LOL.”

The singer went on to sweetly express how thankful she is to have Rich.

“My love, thank you for everything. We’re so lucky to have you in our lives. Don’t get mad at me when you read this… i just think it’s funny… but i always imagine myself running to your parents each and everytime i’m reminded of how lucky we are to have you. In my head, i really just wanted to thank them for creating you. Hahaha!”

“I love you! Happy birthday sweetheart @rich_alvarez,” she added.

Along with the message, Kyla also shared photos and a clip showing her, Rich and their son celebrating the athlete's birthday in a lovely restaurant.

Kyla, whose real name is Melanie Hernandez Calumpad, is a popular songwriter and R&B singer in the Philippines. She is married to former PBA star Rich Alvarez and they have a son named Toby.

Kyla Alvarez took to Instagram and shared a TikTok video that she, her husband, former basketball player Rich Alvarez, and their son, made. She was really happy that she got her husband to agree. Rich was trying hard to follow the steps that she was doing, all the while smiling and also enjoying.

On their 10th wedding anniversary in 2021, the singer penned a heartfelt message to the former PBA star. She admitted that her feelings towards her husband have not changed after many years. According to Kyla, she is still “kinikilig” over Rich and still feels excited about the thought of seeing him.
