Catherine Camilon’s case is beginning to have some leads with the most recent statement released by Police Regional Office (PRO) 4A.
In a report by GMA News, PRO4A revealed that their “person of interest” in the disappearance of the beauty queen is also a police personnel.
Calabarzon Police Regional Office acting regional director Police Brig. Gen. Paul Kenneth Lucas, as reported by ABS-CBN, also stated that the said police personnel, who is a P01, is allegedly in a romantic relationship with Catherine.
This development came after the sister of the beauty queen, Ching-Ching, allegedly received a message from a close friend of Catherine and informed her about the identity of the said police personnel.

In a Manila Bulletin report, Police Brig. Gen. Lucas said that the message contained information about an alleged romantic relationship between Catherine and the subject police personnel.
“The text message contains information from a close friend about the romantic relationship of Catherine and the police officer, and that the police officer was the one who gave the vehicle Catherine used which was caught on the CCTV footage,” said Lucas in his statement as reported by Manila Bulletin.
Catherine, who was a Miss Grand Philippines 2023 candidate, was reported missing on October 12.

Recently, police authorities expressed belief that Catherine Camilon, a Miss Grand Philippines candidate for 2023, is still alive. The PNP-Calabarzon also gave an assurance that the beauty queen would be brought home. One could recall that she was already declared as a missing person due to the length of time that she could not be contacted. As per Brig. Gen. Paul Kenneth Lucas, police chief of Calabarzon, they are confident she is still alive based on their leads.
The beauty queen has been reported missing since October 12. Her sister Chin-Chin Camilon took to Facebook to ask for help in finding the beauty queen-teacher. Chin-Chin also shared an image showing details about her missing sibling, sharing that she is 26 years old, with a height of 5’6”. She then uploaded an image of Catherine’s vehicle and its plate number.
