On its anniversary, Vhong Navarro penned a heartfelt post about the program's milestone.
The comedian and TV host thanked the Madlang People for their continuous love and support for the show.
"Maraming salamat, Madlang Pips sa patuloy ninyong pagsuporta at pagmamahal sa It’s Showtime!"
He went on to greet the whole It's Showtime team, "Happy 14th Anniversary my Showtime fam!"
It is noteworthy that the program is currently serving its 12-day suspension mandated by the Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB). The show will return on air on Saturday, October 28.
Vhong Navarro is a Filipino comedian, actor, dancer, singer and TV host of ABS-CBN Entertainment Groups. He was part of the dance group Streetboys in the Philippines. He is one of the pioneer hosts of the noontime variety show, "It's Showtime."
Previously, Vice Ganda treated his followers to a TikTok video showing him and his "It's Showtime" family. The video shows them dancing while eating ice cream during their vacation in Hong Kong. Meme Vice, Anne Curtis, Vhong Navarro, Kim Chiu, Karylle, Ion Perez, Ogie Alcasid, Ryan Bang, Teddy Corpuz and Jackie Gonzaga were among those seen in the fun video. Netizens then flocked to the video's comments section and expressed delight over the hosts' fun moment.
Anne Curtis also gave snippets of her and her “It’s Showtime” co-hosts’ Hong Kong trip. On her Instagram page, she shared photos and a reel showing their fun moments in the place. As per Anne’s post, they did nothing but eat, drink, chika, playtime, dance, and lots of laughing during their vacation. The actress, along with Vice Ganda, Vhong Navarro, Kim Chiu, Karylle, Ion Perez, Ogie Alcasid, Ryan Bang, Teddy Corpuz and Jackie Gonzaga had a lovely vacay in the region amid their show’s 12-day suspension.
