Marco Gumabao’s video showing him seemingly experiencing a “Steve Harvey” moment in his announcement of the final candidate of the Ms. Bacolod MassKara 2023 beauty pageant who made it to the Top 5, has gone viral.

In the video, Marco can be seen playing up the crowd’s anticipation as to who will be lucky enough to occupy the fifth and final slot of this year’s Ms. Bacolod MassKara 2023 Top 5.
However, instead of announcing the right candidate number, he announced a different number.
“And we have one spot left. Congratulations... are part of our Top Five. Candidate number... Candidate number 5!” Marco announced.

As the camera zoomed out, one can see someone who might have been a member of the production team frantically gesture to Marco and his co-host, Janeena Chan.
Realizing the mistake, the actor immediately apologized.
“Sorry we have... Sorry nagkaroon po tayo ng konting...” Marco stammered.
“Pa-suspense,” Janeena supplied.
“Ng pa-suspense,” the actor chimed in.
“Okay, sure na kami. Eto na,” Janeena said in the midst of giggles, while Marco said what was written on paper was not correct: “Mali po ang nakasulat sa papel.”
“Ayoko magka-Steve Harvey moment eh,” Marco added, and then swiftly proceeded to announce the lucky candidate who will occupy the last and final slot.
“You are part of our Top 5, candidate number 15,” Marco said and apologized once again.
“Once again we're so sorry about that,” the actor said.
Marco Imperial Gumabao is a Filipino actor, model, athlete, and entrepreneur. In 2017, Gumabao was announced as the lead model for BENCH Body. His underwear endorsements, commercials, and campaigns under BENCH revamped his image as a s3xy and bankable actor and talent.
In a separate post on Instagram, the actor's girlfriend, Cristine Reyes, shared stunning pics of her which were captured by Marco during their trip to a beach. Furthermore, as Cristine's post goes viral online, it likewise receives numerous comments from netizens. It's noticeable that Marco also left an adorable remark in the comments section of the said post.
Marco also previously reacted to the viral post of American singer and YouTuber David DiMuzio. It can be recalled that DiMuzio shared a throwback pic showing him and Cristine together in one frame. In his caption, the American singer and YouTuber asked netizens if anyone knew the girl beside him, adding that he seemed to recall she was an actress and was kind to him. By way of his reply to DiMuzio’s post much later, Marco wrote a simple reaction that sent many netizens laughing.
