Claudine Barretto went viral recently after posting on Instagram that she was looking for a house for rent, with four to five bedrooms, located along Katipunan, Quezon City.

“Looking for a house for rent, with 4 to 5 bedrooms. Along katipunan,” Claudine posted.

After seeing the post, many netizens speculated about the reason why Claudine needed to rent a house. Some of them thought that Claudine had sold her house.

However, the actress clarified that she is looking for a place to rent because her house will undergo renovation, improving the different rooms of her home.

“I-clear ko lang po.kailangan namin lumipat dahil ipapa Renovate po yung bahay ko. pagagandahin at mag dadagdag ng mga kwarto kaya d kami pwede dito sa bahay.may parts na ipagigiba. Thank you so much sa inyong lahat.lalo na sa mga nag worry.i luv you all & maraming salamat po,” Claudine shared.

When a netizen asked why she could not temporarily reside in her condominium unit, Claudine replied that her two condo units were already being rented by tenants. Furthermore, even if those condo units were available, she and her household — including her four children, staff, and drivers, would not fit in those locations.

“May nagre rent ng LPL at BONIRIDGE sa BGC kong condo.at d kami kakasya sa Condo.apat anak ko plus staff & Drivers.kaya bahay talaga po,” she explained.
