The actress took to social media to reveal the sad news, informing people of the dates of the wake and where it will be held.

She also invited those who would like to pay their last respects to their daughter, saying that it will surely mean a lot for Yza.

"We will be holding her wake from October 8 to October 12 at La Pieta Funeral Homes, Angeles, Pampanga. We invite those who wish to pay their respects and celebrate her life to visit. Knowing Yza it will mean a lot to her."

There have been a number of personalities who died this year. Recently, former MMDA Chair Bayani Fernanod passed away. Aside from Fernando, a former government official also passed away recently. Former Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Undersecretary Martin Diño died last August 8 following a battle with cancer, his daughter Liza Diño-Seguerra announced.

In a Facebook post, Diño-Seguerra said his father peacefully died while surrounded by loved ones. Diño-Seguerra also expressed heartfelt gratitude to those offering their prayers.

Earlier, Diño-Seguerra posted about his father, who was in critical condition due to stage 4 cancer. She shared a photo that showed her mother holding hands with her dad in a hospital. According to Diño-Seguerra, the photo reflects an emotional journey filled with years of hurt, healing, and forgiveness.
