Julia Montes, in a recent interview with Tito Boy Abunda over the latter’s show, “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda,” revealed just how close she is with fellow multi-awarded actress, Kathryn Bernardo.

Earlier, Tito Boy asked Julia if she felt pressured by the knowledge that Kathryn’s and Alden Richards’ movie, Hello, Love, Goodbye, which is considered the highest-grossing film in Pinoy cinemas so far.
“Is that a pressure that the highest-grossing film in the Philippine cinema stars Alden Richards and Kathryn Bernardo?” Tito Boy asked.
Julia will be appearing in a new movie with Alden, “Five Breakups and a Romance,” which would be the first of the actress after several years of hiatus.

The actress said that instead of looking at it as a pressure, she’s proud it’s Kathryn who played the role in her own movie with Alden.
“Siguro po pressure siya in the sense dahil ang paningin ng tao, after nila Kathryn, kami po. But ako kasi, mas proud po ako e. Doon ako tumitingin kasi si Kathryn ‘yun,” Julia said.
“So parang imbes na tignan ko siya na parang nape-pressure lang, I’m proud na si Kathryn ‘yung nandoon. And kung ibe-bless kami with this film, bakit hindi? We’re happy,” the actress added.
She also revealed how she and Kathryn support each other, indicating their closeness as friends.
“After her film right now, kami ‘yung susunod. Parang natataon nga po na lagi kami ‘yung nadidikit pero happy kami kasi ang lagi naming biro sa isa’t isa, ‘Tayo ang original love team. Nami-miss na natin ang isa’t isa. Kailan tayo gagawa ng pelikula,” Julia said.
Julia Montes is a Filipino actress best known for portraying the role of Clara Del Valle in the remake of the ABS-CBN TV series 'Mara Clara.' She also played the female lead in the romantic drama series 'Walang Hanggan.'
During her guesting on "Fast Talk with Boy Abunda" on Thursday, she took time to promote her upcoming movie with Alden Richards titled 'Five Break-Ups and a Romance'. The actress was asked if Alden's film with Kathryn Bernardo, 'Hello, Love, Goodbye,' makes her feel pressured. It is noteworthy that the said film was declared the highest-grossing Filipino film of all time.
She was also asked by Tito Boy to do an on-the-spot acting without the benefit of a script. The scene was with Tito Boy, who acted as an uncaring father. Julia did not have any difficulty in getting into the character of a daughter who has been trying her best to please her father. At the end, she broke down and hugged Tito Boy, who was simply amazed at her talent.
