Karen Davila has taken to IG and wrote a heartfelt post about the ABS-CBN Ball 2023.

It was a post that defined what the grand ABS-CBN Ball meant for her.

For Karen, the grand ball was not merely a ball but it was a celebration of family who survived the hardest of times.

"KAPAMILYA LOVE For those of us who work at ABSCBN, this wasn’t just a ball. It was a celebration of family surviving through the hardest of times and now thriving in a new playing field."

She also highlighted how she felt sentimental at the ball, seeing so many familiar faces.

"I felt a bit sentimental being in that ballroom - seeing so many familiar faces."

She ended her post with a very nice quote.

"It’s been said, “The shadows are just as important as the light”. I value each and every experience I have had in this company - both good and bad. It all turns out for God’s purpose in the end."

Karen Davila is a journalist, radio broadcaster, newsreader and television presenter in the Philippines. She is best known for her news programs on ABS-CBN. Karen has also found immense success as a YouTube content creator. She is now one of the anchors on ANC.

In a previous post, the award-winning journalist shared a heartwarming post about her mother’s 89th birthday. She shared clips of her mother’s birthday lunch with her loved ones. The broadcaster’s mother also had to undergo a physical therapy session on her birthday. According to Karen, her mother has been diagnosed with mild Parkinson's disease and neuropathy issues.
